Anthony A. Audino, 88, died Monday, Feb. 28, in his Palatine home. Mr. Audino, a Chicago native, retired in 1974 as a market manager at Illinois Tool Works, Chicago. In his 35 years with the company, Mr. Audino also worked as an engineer and a product manager. In the 1950s, Mr. Audino was president of the board of education at Harrison School, the only school in Elementary School District 36, Wonder Lake. “In his 25 years of retirement, he and my mother had many happy times,” said his daughter, Virginia L. Doheny. “They just celebrated their 66th anniversary. They went on cruises and traveled to the (Caribbean) islands and other places.” Other survivors include his wife, Eleanor O.; two sons, Donald A. and Kenneth R.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. A service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
