It is comforting to know that Dr. Jody Steinauer is working to ensure safe abortions (Voice of the people, March 7). Although I don’t agree with abortions as birth control, we all know mistakes happen. We need to make sure my generation and future generations do not have to contend with the dangerous back-alley abortions that my grandmother faced.
