Robert Lee Johnson, 70, a chemical salesman from Downers Grove, died Saturday, March 11, in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Mr. Johnson was born in Chicago. Survivors include his wife, Fay Cape-Johnson; two sons, Jeffrey Johnson and Chad Cape; three daughters, Kristy Moore, Laura Mills and Lynne DeJong; nine grandchildren; a sister, Betty Vavul; and two brothers, Ted and Ron. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Bethel United Church of Christ, 315 E. St. Charles Rd., Elmhurst.
