David Lee McIntyre, 37, of Carpentersville, was a car mechanic at Penske Auto Service in Woodstock for the last 15 years. Mr. McIntyre, who was born in Kenosha, died Tuesday, March 14, in Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. “He was the best guy to work with,” said Delbert Koss, a fellow mechanic at Penske for 15 years. “He never complained no matter what work we had to do. He was like a brother to me. When my son passed away, he helped me. We’re going to miss him.” Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Sandy A.; a son, Cody; a daughter, Caity; his parents, Donald A. and Geraldine; a brother, Donald A. Jr.; a sister, Sara Regnery; his grandmother, Frances Ista; and a grandson. A visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, when a service will begin, in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1320 Dean St., Woodstock.
