Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I found the article, “Beep, Beep–Better Check that Receipt” (Mar. 9), to be right on the money. Just hours after reading the article in the Tribune, I shopped at our local Walgreens and was overcharged $7.36 plus tax, on a total bill of $21.00. One $6.99 item scanned twice and the computer charged me $4.87 for three of an item priced at 2/$3.00. To add insult to injury, it took store employees over twenty minutes from the time they began scanning my purchases, until my refund was completed.

I appreciated the informative article. Keep up the good work.
