Vera M. Curran, 96, a Downers Grove homemaker, died Saturday, March 18, in Edward Hospital in Naperville. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Curran was a Downers Grove resident for 35 years. Survivors include a daughter, Maureen Conolly; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove, with mass at 11:15 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Front Street and Kingston Avenue, Lisle.
