In her March 7 letter, “Funding abortions,” Karen Hayes states that “making people pay for abortions against their will and conscience is beyond reason.” Her reference is to taxpayer funding of abortions. Yet abortions are also covered by private insurance, and we all pay into that system. So what’s the difference?
