I salute Bob Greene and the Tribune for devoting the necessary time and space to the near-release of convicted child-abuser Joseph Grad. We will never know how many people were motivated by his columns to voice their concern that this hideous excuse for a human could possibly be released from prison after serving only 1 years of his incredibly light 4-year sentence. Greene should be commended for keeping this pathetic story in front of the reading public and generating the reaction necessary to let the fine folks in Indiana know that the whole world is watching.
