Jon Randall, 16, died Tuesday, March 21, in Batavia. Mr. Randall, a sophomore at Batavia High School, was a fullback for school’s football team and pitched and played in the outfield for its baseball team. Mr. Randall also worked part-time for the Markaty Trucking in Batavia. He is survived by his parents, Dwight and Paulette Randall; a brother, Michael; and his grandparents, F. John Randall, Ruth and Clare Frantz and James and Emily Safiran. A memorial service for friends and classmates will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday in Holy Cross Church, 2300 Main St., Batavia. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia. Services will be begin at 9 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Church, followed by a 10 a.m. mass.
