Charles Meyers, 34, of the 200 block of Spruce Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged Sunday with attempted theft. Police said Meyers concealed two bottles of liquor, valued at $51.42, under his jacket but put them back on the shelf at Dominick’s supermarket, 4233 Lincoln Highway, after being observed by store security.
