Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Six Flags Great America turns 25 this year, but there’s no need to buy a gift. Just bring enough silver for admission and enjoy the anniversary season’s party favors, like a nightly Bugs Bunny-led Silver Season Celebration Parade beginning June 17, and the Great Russian Circus 2000, debuting May 27. Starting Saturday at 10 a.m., the park will be open on weekends only through May 11. The park will open daily May 12 through Aug.27.
Six Flags is off Interstate Highway 94 at the Grand Avenue East exit. Adult day passes are $39.99; children 48″ tall and under and seniors are $19.99; children 2 and under get in free. Call 847-249-INFO or click www.sixflags.com.
