Conway Farms, a master-planned community of three neighborhoods in Lake Forest, is hosting a Home Show this weekend.

The community includes a private 18-hole golf course and a recreation complex with a swimming pool, bathhouse and tennis courts.

The three neighborhoods in the 380-acre development offer five models and three field homes. Lots in the Highlands community are 3/4 of an acre to 1 1/2 acres and are priced from $295,000. Homes range from 4,500 to 6,500 square feet. A 4,500-square-foot spec home with four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths is open for viewing.

A second neighborhood, Farview Ridge, includes 26 duplex town homes with three to five bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and up to 3,200 square feet. They include two-story foyers, kitchens with islands, great rooms with vaulted ceilings, two-story dining room with vaulted ceilings, masonry fireplaces and basements, and are base-priced from $765,000.

The Courts at Conway Farms comprises 50 single-family, maintenance-free homes. They range from 2,400 to 3,100 square feet with three bedrooms and are base-priced from $525,000 to $589,000.

To visit, take Interstate Highway 94 to Illinois Highway 60, go east a half-mile to the entrance.

From the entrance, Conway Farms lot sales are a quarter-mile and to the left. Farview Ridge is a half-mile on the right and The Courts is past Farview Ridge on the left.

– Phase I and II sales are under way at Village Green of East Dundee, an independent-living center with 90 condominiums by Windsor Development Corp.

All Phase I condominiums have been built and 15 are available for immediate occupancy.

Models of the two floor plans include a 1,000-square-foot first-floor plan with two bedrooms and two baths and a one-bedroom, one-bath unit with 750 square feet. They are base-priced from $139,900 to $164,900 and include kitchens, baths and extra-wide hallways. Garage space is available on an optional basis.

A monthly service fee covers meal service, utilities, scheduled transportation services, and use of a library, hair salon, game room, “necessity” store and exercise center. Fees also cover use of the private dining room, wellness room, on-site banking facilities, mail station, 24-hour controlled access and an emergency response system. Routine maintenance and bi-weekly housekeeping services are included as well.

Village Green is located on Barrington Avenue between Dundee Township Public Library and Dundee Township Park District Recreation Center in northwest suburban East Dundee.

– Two decorated models are for sale at DeerCreek Estates, a J.A. Associate Builders community of 150 single-family homes on 55 acres in south suburban Sauk Village.

The two models include the two-story, 2,450-square-foot Ashwood, priced at $239,795, and the 2,850-square-foot Wynwood, priced at $268,088.

The Wynwood, base-priced at $212,200, has been expanded by 228 square feet. It offers a two-story foyer, family room and garden room with fireplace. Also included are a living room, formal dining room and kitchen with island and breakfast area. On the second floor is a master suite with fireplace, vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet and private bath with whirlpool tub, plus three secondary bedrooms and a full bath.

The Ashwood, typically a three-bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths, has been expanded to four bedrooms and three baths. The ground level offers a foyer, family room, full bath and fourth bedroom/den. Up three steps is the living room, formal dining room and kitchen with bay breakfast area. Upstairs is the master suite with walk-in closet and private bath, two additional bedrooms and a full bath.

To reach the community, take Interstate Highway 394 south to Sauk Trail and head west 1 mile to Cottage Grove Road. Turn south and follow the road to the community.

– Cambridge Homes has opened two furnished models at Peach Creek, a 43-acre community of 157 homes in west suburban Lisle.

The Landmark Series is a new line of detached town homes. One ranch and four two-story designs range from 1,210 to 2,971 square feet and are base-priced from $193,990 to $277,990.

The two-story plans include finished lower levels and wood decks.

Standard features include two-car attached garages, laundry rooms, master suites with walk-in closets, and fully sodded and landscaped yards.

One of the models is of the 2,815-square-foot, two-story Kenley. It offers two bedrooms, including a master suite on the main level, loft, 3 1/2 baths, living room with volume ceiling, dining room with volume ceiling and bay window and a secondary bedroom on the second floor. It is priced from $260,990.

The 2,872-square-foot, two-story Trenton model has three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a library, family room, combined living and dining rooms, kitchen with walk-in pantry, and master bath with soaking tub and separate shower. It is priced from $255,990.
