As we remembered the millions of soldiers who died for America on Memorial Day, I hope we also remembered and will continue to remember the millions of people who are dying every year in Iraq because of the great U.S. of A. Thank you, Salim Muwakkil, for “Where is our shame? Iraqis are dying and we continue our sanctions” (Commentary, May 29). It was a great column that, I hope, will aid in opening the eyes of our fellow Americans to the plight of Iraq.
