Richard A. Rutherford, 94, a longtime executive and accountant with the Pullman Company, died Saturday, April 1, at his winter home in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mr. Rutherford worked for Pullman for 45 years. Mr. Rutherford retired from Pullman in 1977. He went on to work for the Village of Wilmette as an accountant for 20 years. In 1954, he moved to Wilmette with his late wife, Ruth. He is survived by his second wife, Eleanore. A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church, 9th Street and Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette.
