The capsule endoscope discussed in “Take 1 camera, call me in morning” (Page 1, May 25) could possibly be combined with magnetic resonance imaging or, at least, magnets to allow more control of the endoscope. As many technologies as can be combined with this less intrusive device should be pursued since the current colonoscopy procedure is not exactly something someone wants to have happen to them. Thanks for keeping Chicago up to date on what the science journals like Nature are talking about.
