July 1 is fast approaching.
To many this may mean nothing.
But to the thousands of parents who receive child-support payments, this means another headache.
DuPage County’s contract expires then, and the child-support payments will be taken over by a temporary agency until a permanent one can be found.
Many wonder who will be there to help this time around, when confusion and anger are created again.
Unfortunately it has been my experience that no one will listen to us “little” people.
We are given the run-around when trying to find out where our money is, whom we can contact, or who is willing and able to help us.
Gov. George Ryan and all the other politicians out there who are not interested in helping their own constituents should listen:
We parents outnumber you politicians.
Come election time, we will remember who has done what, or in your case, who has not done what.
