James R. Lynch, 58, of Buffalo Grove, a salesman for Suburban Moving & Storage in Mundelein, died Friday, June 16, of complications from lung cancer. In his job, he provided moving estimates and made many friends along the way, said his daughter, Laura Doherty. “He was very honest and he treated everybody with the same respect,” his son, Andy, said. “He’d go buy coffee and end up having a conversation with the people” at the store. Born in Chicago, Mr. Lynch attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park and earned a bachelor’s degree from Quincy College. He lived in Buffalo Grove for the past 28 years and was a member of a men’s group at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. His children said he enjoyed the group’s fishing, boccie ball and golf outings. Other survivors include his wife, Sherry, and two grandsons. A mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 75 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove.
