Bellwood police questioned two people Thursday in connection with the shooting death of a 29-year-old man.

Isaih Scott was found shot to death at about 1 a.m. Thursday in his home in the 300 block of Bohland Avenue, Bellwood Police Chief Gregory Moore said. Scott had been shot nine times in what police believe might have been a drug-related shooting, Moore said. Police found Scott in a bedroom after responding to a call that shots had been fired, he said.

The two suspects, a 25-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, are friends of Scott’s who were at the scene when police arrived, Moore said. They were taken into custody immediately but were not charged Thursday night, Moore said.

The investigation is continuing, he said.
