Franklin M. “Red” Young, 91, of Franklin Park, IL, formerly of Apollo, PA, passed away June 25th. He was born in Apollo on Dec. 12, 1908. Mr. Young was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church of Chicago. Survivors include a longtime dear friend, Texie Van Dorn and her two sons, Theodore and Thomas; five nieces and two nephews; and several great-and great-greatnieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Hilderbrand Young. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2000 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 7534 W. Berwyn Ave., Chicago, Illinois. 773-631-8262.
