Anna Fiedler, 83, nee Eckstein, beloved wife of 48 years of Adolph J. Mrs. Fiedler was born in Chicago (Pilsen area). She graduated from Komensky School, 1930; Morton High School, 1934; Morton Jr. College, 1936; Northern Illinois University, B.E. degree, 1939; University of Chicago, M.A. 1947 and enrolled full time on sabbatical at the University of Chicago, Midwest Administration Center, 1963-64. Member of the National Honor Society (Morton 1934); Pi Lambda Theta-Lambda Chapter (U. of C. 1964); Ladies Aid of the Bohemian Home, Ladies Auxiliary of the Pilsen Butchers Association and the Gen. Custer School P.T.A. She was a retired teacher and principal for over 39 years at the Gen. Custer School in Berwyn. Funeral Wednesday, 12 noon, at Linhart Funeral Home, 6820 W. Cermak Rd., Berwyn. Entombment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Riverside Library Building Fund appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. 708-749-2255.
