Jack Fleming, born September 10, 1918 in Columbus, OH. Passed away August 14, 2000 in Folsom, CA. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Longtime member of AA with 22 years of sobriety and an active sponsor to hundreds of new members. Formerly from Chicago, he was a retired employee of Illinois Bell and a member of Telephone Pioneers. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Betty “B.J.” Fleming; good friend and former wife, Madelyn Fleming; his children, Sharon (Gene) Glover, Linda Allan, Patricia (William Sr.) Reilley and Mary (John) Kunak; his stepchildren, Gary Morrissette, Terry Miller, Steve (Marie) Morrissette; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday, August 16, 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 17, at 12 noon in the Church of the Valley at Mount Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA.
