Just wanted to congratulate you on the defection of sportswriter Bernie Lincicome to Denver. For years I have watched that valuable real estate on Page 1 of the Sports section be filled with his inane, ridiculous and sometimes cruel and insensitive comments. While I respect many writers whom I sometimes disagree with (like Skip Bayless and John Kass), the same could not be said for Bandwagon Bernie. With talented writers like Mr. Bayless, Melissa Isaacson (and even Steve Rosenbloom) to fill in that real estate, I will look forward to spending a few more minutes a day reading the Sports section. Denver’s loss is our gain.
