In Jeff Zeleny’s “Dominick’s, Jewel deny milk pricing scheme” (Metro, Aug. 25), he writes about milk prices being high at the major grocery stores.
Some don’t seem to care.
Jeanine O’Brien is quoted as saying, “I would buy it no matter what–even at $10 a gallon. I’m fortunate. I can afford it.”
Is this one of the reasons that milk prices are high?
What about the people on fixed incomes who are having a hard time making ends meet?
