I am an everyday “memorizer” of the Tribune sports section (except for skipping the opinions of columnists who dwell on the negatives.) I have never (in my 55 years) written to anyone at the Tribune.
Melissa Isaacson’s article on what a quarterback has to do in 40 seconds (Tribune, Sept. 7) was top-notch. It is infrequent when someone takes the time to explain what is really going on. It was refreshing to read an article devoid of cliches that dared to be a little more complex and lengthy.
