Lucille R. Lewald, nee Hauber, age 79, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2000, she was one of the first women to be involved in the full-time delivery of Chicago’s major newspapers, beloved daughter of the late Charles and Rose Hauber; cherished wife of the late Martin F. Lewald; devoted mother of Martin (Pat) Lewald and Ron (Rochelle) Lewald; loving sister of Leonard Hauber, Norbert Hauber, Julia Matthes, Virginia Wasikowski, Marcella Denoker, Loretta Quick, late Charles Hauber and the late Melvin Hauber; dearest grandmother of Martin, Renee, Loren and Ryan; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2000 at 8:45 a.m. from Sheldon Goglin Funeral Home, 5935 W.
