All of the politicians are once again fighting for us. They have nothing but our interests in mind. They fight their way through fact-finding panels, committee meetings, investigative reports, polls and probes. While they’re in these battles, we, the powerless, continue to be abused on a daily basis by:
– United Airlines and its total indifference to our needs.
– Commonwealth Edison’s continuing lousy service and unresponsiveness.
– Gas stations and major oil company price-gouging and collusion.
– Nicor’s outrageous price increase while they disclose serious health hazards they installed.
– Jewel and Dominick’s collusive pricing.
– Unrestricted spending on all government levels, from flower pots to huge buildings.
– Infrastructure projects to create employment in politically responsive areas while the powerless still have to drive over the same old potholes.
