Wardell L. Daves, age 44, of Chicago, formerly of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Sept. 27, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Wardell is survived by his beloved son, Skyler Daves; loving fiancee, Sue Wunderlich and numerous cherished friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Daves and several aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at Family Harvest Church, 18500 92nd Ave., Tinley Park on Monday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Skyler Daves Trust Fund, c/o Family Harvest Church would be kindly appreciated. 708-614-6000.
