Frederick Eugene Green, 73, of Spring Hill, FL, former 25 year resident of Woodridge, IL, at peace Sept. 29 at his residence in Florida, loving husband of Georgiana; dear father of Jon R. Green and Steven J. Green, both of Brooklyn, NY; cherished brother of Dian (Leonard) Lustig; uncle of Al Lustig, Scott Lustig, Charles Lustig and Matt Lustig; cousin of Elaine Slotkin. Mr. Green was a veteran of WW II and Korea. Member of VFW Post #10209 Honor Guard in Spring Hill and the Lions in Illinois. A volunteer of the Hernando County Sheriff’s Dept. He was also a private pilot and was of Jewish faith. Interment Friday, Oct. 6, 1 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
