Marjorie Ann Larsen, of Chicago, died Oct. 1, 2000 in her home with family, friends, cats and hospice. She was born May 22, 1934 in Decorah, IA. She taught in Iowa and Illinois. She was also a manager for 27 years in the Chicago Health Clubs. Margie’s love for animals was extraordinary. She rescued several dogs and cats who were a high priority in her life. She had many special friends who loved her very much. Margie was a special, caring and loving person who always helped others. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to “Cats are Purrsons Too”, PO box 59069, Chicago, IL 60659, c/o Sister Maryjon Binder or to Olive Branch Mission, 6310 S. Claremont, Chicago, IL 60636. Margie’s relatives would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to the Hospice Staff at Northwestern Hospital and to her many wonderful, supportive special friends in Chicago, IL. She has willed her body to the Anatomical Gift Association. Memorial services in Chicago and in Decorah, will be announced later.
