Thomas J. Strobehn, 68, of Arlington Heights retired in 1995 as a machinist for E.H.Wachs Co., Wheeling, a manufacturer of industrial machinery. He worked 30 years for the company. Mr. Strobehn died Tuesday, Oct. 10, in his home. “He was a good man,” said his wife of 37 years, Irma. “He was a very quiet person. He enjoyed bowling.” Other survivors include two sons, David John and Matthew Brian; two brothers, George and John; and four sisters, Carol Lara, Elizabeth Pollize, Diane Schutz and Janet Smith. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, followed immediately by a service in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
