Left wing Robert Petrovicky and right wing Rob Brown each recorded two goals, powering the Wolves to a 7-4 win over the Utah Grizzlies at the Allstate Arena on Wednesday night. The win was the Wolves’ second of the season and their first at home.

With the victory, Chicago (2-2-0) extended its winning streak against Utah to four games in the series dating back to last season while also halting a two-game losing skid.

The Wolves’ seven goals were the team’s largest offensive output since their season-opening 8-3 win at Cincinnati on Oct. 7.

The Wolves went ahead 2-0 in the first three minutes of the game. Petrovicky opened the scoring for the Wolves for the second consecutive game with a shot to the high slot at 2 minutes 16 seconds. Brown tapped in the first of his two goals on the night just 45 seconds later.

The Grizzlies answered with two goals just 30 seconds apart to tie the score at 15:59 in the first frame. Defenseman Dallas Eakins put the Wolves ahead, 3-2, at 17:33, and they stayed ahead through the period.

With two power-play scores to start the second period, the Wolves pushed the score to 5-3.
