Agnes M. Bugiel, 87, of Rolling Meadows, and her husband, Frank J. Sr., owned Bugiel’s Pastry Shop in Rolling Meadows from 1960 to 1975. Mrs. Bugiel, who was born in Litchfield, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, in Plum Grove Nursing Home, Palatine. “She was a very sweet lady, a loving mother,” said her daughter Maryann. “She was very persevering and hard-working. She had to leave school when she was young, after her first year of high school, to help support her family. When we had the bakery in Rolling Meadows, she went back to night school and got her diploma.” Survivors include another daughter, Martha A. Reilly; two sons, Frank J. Jr. and Robert L.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Colette Catholic Church, 3900 Meadow Drive, Rolling Meadows.
