Recently my class was in the library about to go browse for books when some of our teachers surprised us with a skit that taught us about the seriousness of book banning.
People shouldn’t ban books because I believe that everyone (adults and children) should have the right to read what he or she likes.
Another reason you shouldn’t ban books is because a book that some people may think is inappropriate may seem appropriate to others.
Some solutions that I came up with were not to ban books altogether but put age ranges on certain books.
Instead of banning books in school libraries you should leave a part of the library open only for banned books. Anyone who wanted to read one of those books must have a signed note from a parent or guardian saying that it is OK.
