– Evergreen Park Public Library will host a Halloween Party at 7 p.m. Monday at 9400 S. Troy Ave. Costumes are optional. Participants will play games, eat treats and listen to scary and not-so-scary stories. Admission is free. Call 708-422-8522.
– “A Christmas Fantasy on Ice” will take place from Nov. 1 through Jan. 14 at Drury Lane Theater, 2500 W. 95th St., Evergreen Park. Show times will be 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 2 and 8:30 p.m. Fridays; 5 and 8:30 p.m. Saturdays; and 3:30 p.m. Sundays. – Evergreen Park will host “Love Lights a Tree,” the annual tree-lighting ceremony benefiting the American Cancer Society, at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at 94th Street and Kedzie Avenue. Admission is free. Call 708-422-1551.
– The Evergreen Park Recreation Department offers a trip to Northwestern University’s Ryan Field on Nov. 18 as the Wildcats take on the Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois. – Toddler Story Time will begin Nov. 28 and continue for four weeks at the Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy Ave. Story time will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays. Admission is free. Call 708-422-8522.
– Evergreen Park Public Library will host a Library Tree Holiday Celebration at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at 9400 S. Troy Ave. The community is invited to help decorate the library’s holiday tree with non-breakable ornaments supplied by the library or donated ornaments with family names on them.
