Harold L. Burger Sr., of Knox, Indiana, formerly of Chicago, passed away Thursday, Oct. 26. He was born Sept. 8, 1937 in Knox, to the late Frank and the late Beatrice, nee Colwell. He was employed for 31 years at Central Steel and Wire in Chicago. Dear companion of Sally Baes of Knox; loving father of Harold Burger Jr. of South Beloit, IL and Bryan Burger of Indianapolis; dear brother of Janice Bottorf of Walkerton, IN, Raymond Burger of Gulf Port, MS, Roy Burger of Knox, Duane Burger of LaPorte, IN, Gordon Burger of Knox, the late Imogene Magers and the late Alberta Marie Cowen; loving grandfather of three. Visitation Friday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, 153 E. Washington St., Knox, IN 46534. Funeral Services will be Saturday, Oct. 28, 2 p.m. at M.C. Smith Funeral Home.
