Albert Edward Leger, age 96, of Jones-Harrison Residence, formerly of Skokie, IL, preceded in death by loving wife, Alice Mildred Leger; will be deeply missed by daughter, Patricia Nelson and husband Donald of Minnetonka, MN.; grandchildren, David and wife Barbara of Plano, TX, Steven and wife Diana of Mason, OH, Leslie Johnson and husband Tom of Edina, MN.; greatgrandchildren, Jeffrey, Andrew, Caitlin, Victoria and Alexa Nelson, Lindsey and Benjamin Johnson; many other loving relatives and friends. Albert was a long time grain merchant and member of the Chicago Board of Trade and a very active participant and supporter of Rogers Park Presbyterian Church, Chicago, for over 60 years. He won many awards for his participation as a volunteer instructor in the Rules of the Road Program in Skokie, IL. Albert was always a caregiver in any of his endeavors. Memorial service was held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Minnetonka United Methodist Church, 17611 Lake Street Extension, Minnetonka, MN. Private interment was at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
