Mary Catherine Fagan, died on Saturday, October 28th. She was a lifelong resident of Chicago and a young-at-heart octogenarian. Through her life and beyond, her family has been “Her prime concern” and her love for them was steadfast. They include her sister, Sr. Toni Callahan O.P.; her husband the late Cyril Fagan; her children Jack (Lynn), Jan Maloney, Barbara (John) Thompson, Vince (Jackie) Fagan, Phil (Linda) and Lori (Ken Keibler). She was proud of her 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mary enjoyed her teaching career, first at Loretto High School and then at Queen of Peace High School. Her generosity was boundless, her compassion immediate, and her forgiving love amazing. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, to St. Barnabas Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
