Loula Kontogianis, nee Kakarakis, age 88, beloved wife of the late John A.; devoted daughter of the late Frank and Mary Karzis Kakarakis; loving mother of Anne (Gerard) Anaszewicz and Frances Lamta; devoted grandmother of five; proud great-grandmother of one; dear sister of James (Colleen) Kakarakis, Thalia Geroulis, and Chris Kartsunes. Long time member of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church. Mrs Kontogianis had resided in Ridgefield, CT since 1987. She was also a member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Danbury, CT. She enjoyed music, cooking, playing cards, but most of all her family. Visitation Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Chapel of Adinamis Funeral Directors, 4700 N. Western Ave. Funeral Wednesday 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL 60660 for services at 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
