Edward O. Schalk, age 89, formerly employed by Western Electric Hawthorne Works and active member of Arizona Pioneers, loving husband of the late Mabel; devoted father to Edward R. (Gloria) and Susan (John) Gorecki; cherished grandfather of Todd Schalk, Elizabeth, Brian and Bradley Gorecki; devoted brother of the late Leroy and the late Raymond (Mae). Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St. (corner of Route 64 and Route 25), St. Charles. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
