I was infuriated to read your Oct. 31 editorial “Stick to abortion facts–not fiction.” Mark Steven Kirk does not “solidly support abortion rights.” You were right to say that he opposes federal funding for abortions and that he favors a law requiring minors to notify a parent or adult before seeking an abortion.
These are not minor “details.” These are very important facts to the choice community and, most importantly, to poor and young women.
