Hershey Foods Corp. said it will acquire the breath-mints and chewing-gum businesses of snack food-maker Nabisco Holdings Corp. for $135 million. The transaction depends on the completion of Nabisco’s planned acquisition by Phillip Morris Cos., which plans to wrap Nabisco into its Northfield-based Kraft Foods unit. The deal puts Nabisco’s popular Ice Breakers and Breath Savers mint brands in Hershey’s basket.
