I would publicly like to thank Gov. George Ryan and Mayor Richard Daley for their roles in the repaving of the Stevenson and Dan Ryan Expressways. There were a lot of negative comments, and rightly so, about their poor condition. Now that both expressways are finished, I think we should be positive and say, “Thank you for a job well done.”
