The election fiasco in Florida is the best thing to happen to the United States in decades. It illustrates clearly to all citizens the meaning of responsibility–if it is to be, it is up to me. It is not what some lawyer or judge believes you intended in the voting booth; you alone punched the ballot. If you did not understand the ballot or made a mistake, accept that responsibility. Learn from your own mistake the next time you vote. Don’t look to Washington to legislate a voter welfare program. We already have too many programs and laws on the books for those who refuse to take responsibility for their actions.
