I’m a “new” baseball fan–the 2000 White Sox convinced me. What the Sox need is an excellent catcher to help/guide/encourage/develop an excellent staff of young pitchers.
They really never really needed Alex Rodriguez.
They have the players to attract fans. They just need to pay some attention to salesmanship to let the fans know what they’re missing by not being in the nosebleed seats at Comiskey Park.
