Having been born and raised in Chicago, my favorite holiday memory is of my parents taking me downtown to have lunch under the Christmas tree in the Walnut Room at Marshall Field’s and then walking outside to see the displays in the different department store windows.
We did this year after year. Oh, how I love Chicago!
