James Michael “Mike” Duffy, age 55, lived at 1147 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, IL, passed away December 29, 8:25 p.m. at The Foster McGaw Hospital Loyola University in Maywood, IL. He was born March 24, 1945 in Muncie, IN. Married to Jean L., nee Hethcote, September 3, 1966 in Muncie. He graduated from Muncie Central High School. Attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN for a year. He was employed by The Navistar International Corporation for 28 years, Financial Division. Member of Masonic Lodge, Morton, IL, Scottish Rite at Peoria, IL and the Schriner of Peoria, IL. Army National Guard, 38th Infantry Band for 20 years. He is survived by his wife Jean. Visitation Tuesday, January 2, at Yurs Peterson Funeral Home, Batavia, IL. 4 to 8 p.m. Illinois time. Thursday, January 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Downing Funeral Home, Geneva, IN.
