Dr. Jolayne Woo Hirano, formerly of Augusta, GA, beloved wife of Dr. Ikuo Hirano of Chicago; loving daughter of Lynne and Eugene Woo, Jr.; fond sister of Dr. Kent Woo of Savannah GA, Dr. Nelson Woo of Augusta, GA, Keith Woo and Eugene Woo III of Atlanta, GA. Dr. Hirano was a native of Augusta, GA and a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta and also served as a volunteer with the American Red Cross. She received her Undergraduate Degree from the University of Georgia and her Doctorate of Pharmacy at Mercer University. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Rodger Murchison of officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park, Augusta GA. Memorial contributions may be made to Jolayne Woo Hirano Scholarship Fund, 28 Eagle Pointe Dr., Augusta, GA 30909.
