Johnson, December 30, 2000, late of New Lenox, beloved husband of Virginia, nee Rutan, Johnson; dear father of Karen (Dennis) Herrie and Peggy (Marty) Driscoll; fond grandfather to Megan and Laura Driscoll; uncle to Pam (Jeff) Winterfeldt; great-uncle to Emily Winterfeldt; son of the late Clark and Bertha, nee Lamparter, Johnson; brother of the late Ken Johnson. Retired in 1980 after 12 years as the owner operator of Quality Home Improvements. Member of Marley Community Church. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox, Monday, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Services Tuesday, January 2, 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Allan Holder officiating.
