Hazel Evanson, 96, of Libertyville, formerly of Lansing, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, beloved mother of Phyllis Mountz and the late Peggy (Howard) Weiler; dear grandmother of seven; dearest great-grandmother of eight; fond sister of Myrtle Weston; preceded in death by her husband Peter. Funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, 11 a.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 19058 Burnham Ave., Lansing, 60438. Interment Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Plymouth, IN.
