James Allen Suchala, age 59, of Park City, UT, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at his home in Park City, following a year long battle with cancer. Born March 25, 1941, in Chicago, IL, the son of Walter Joseph and Regina Helen Koscielski Suchala. Married Carolyn Elise Frere on October 1, 1983, in Country Club Hills, IL. James was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from RR Donnelley & Sons after 35 years. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially hockey, skiing and biking. He is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Carolyn; mother, Regina Suchala of Burnham, IL; three brothers, Tom (Sandy) of Indiana, Don of Illinois and Terry (Jan) of Park City; sister, Kathy Suchala of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2001, 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church (new), Hwy 224 & White Pine Canyon Road, Park City. Friends may call on Friday at St. Mary’s Church from 6 to 7 p.m., with a Vigil Service following, and a Visitation on Saturday, 1/2 hour prior to the services at the Church.
